• While Norman was working for Essentra Components, he noted the need to move roles from one AX365FO environment to another.

• He noted that the task of creating security roles with the required access was quite complicated.

• He also noted that the external auditors needed key information which is painful to retrieve.

• External auditors always ask for information on employees who have left the company.

• Another common question: "Why is the AD account still active for many left employees?".

• Well, Norman came up with AXNet2018 to facilitate the role authoring process and provide controls and information required for auditors and HR people.
